A remodeled single family house in colonial style built in the early 1900’s.
The main concept of this project is to expose the original structure and to contrast the ‘old’ and the ‘new’; the existing materials & the new high technology materials, glass and metal. A new stairway is added from the entrance foyer to the basement for convenient access and a new open kitchen / dining area is made for natural lighting to the basement below. A home theater system will be installed in the basement family room area during phase 2 of the remodeling.
