The upper two levels of the house have more natural light in this infill lot situation of a two-family house.
The couple respected the original architectural elements such as the old oak parquet flooring with beautiful trimmings and the moldings throughout the house. Even though we gutted out most part of the house, the owner wanted to keep the original modest style. And they kept the craw foot bathtub in the new bath.
A new guest quarter was added to the attic floor, which had been used as storage.
