Refurnishing of a one-bedroom apartment unit with only 550 square feet.
The challenge was to focus on adding adequate storage space without crowding the small interior with bulky furniture. Utilizing what space is available, the furniture is selected based on function over decorative elements and aims for simplicity. The furniture layout gives room and doesn’t obstruct passage within the unit while providing much-needed storage space and organization that is lacking in the original layout of the apartment. A variety of small items add point colors to the overall black and white scheme.
